CHC43015-Certificate IV Ageing Support

The purpose of the CHC43015-Certificate IV in Ageing Support qualification is to qualify individuals who want to gain a specialised knowledge in aged care services; either working as residential carer, home or community-based environments. As a professional, it is the responsibility of the aged care workers to maintain the quality service delivery with efficient output in accordance with the organisation protocols. In order to achieve this qualification, it is compulsory for the participants to complete 120 hours of work placement along with assessment requirement.

  • A candidate must complete a total of 18 units, 15 core units and 3 elective units. To achieve this qualification, students must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
